Need schematic, Cannot find. Code F28

Hello. I need the schematic for a HE2plus Kenmore, model 110.47511701 . I have exhausted my search.

I am getting a code F28 after changing the door latch, the control panel and the inlet switch.

This machine will not start filling.

The drain pump was also replaced recently and worked fine.

The machine was reset numerous times and connections checked. The only thing left is to put a meter on it.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you checked inside the machine for service sheets that are often stored there for technicians to use?

Here's the tech sheet for the washer.

F28 is a communications error between the Control board and the User Interface.

You didn't specify which connections you checked but recheck the UI board to the Control board connections at both ends. Look for corrosion on the connector pins perhaps.

I'm still looking, but so far the only source I've found is a site called servicemanuals.net that claims to have the manual available for purchase in either digital or paper form for $16.99 or $29.99 respectively. I can't vouch for them, sorry to say, as I have had no experience with that site.

I did run across an eBay listing that said the part they were selling was from a washer with a quote:

The washer machine was an F-28 communications error code.

Maybe double check any control board plugs that were disconnected or jostled?
