Why is the LED light blinking while charging
The Chromebook is blinking on the LED light as it charges and continues to do so and when I unplug it it turns off as it's not charging at all

Your Chromebook issue points to a charging or battery fault. First, try a hard reset by holding Refresh + Power for 10 seconds while plugged in. Most likely the battery has failed and needs to be replaced.
