Got a swelling battery, was able to remove it with your tutorial before it gets worse, then wanted to buy a replacement one but you're out of stock.
Do you know if you'll be able to restock or is itgoing to be a long time shortage. Seems a stupid question but in France google dont do the battery replacement, and i dont know if it's due to a mass shortage.

Search online for GP5JE battery France to find suitable suppliers if you can't get one from ifixit within a suitable timeframe.

Swelled battery cannot be recovered, it's depleted completely. If you can't find a spare part, temporary solution may be using universal battery with similar size. It will reduce the capacity and maybe require some supports to hold the battery, but device will work. Sometimes you must take a controller from an old battery, if it refuses to start, and change only bank of the battery.
