What are the dimensions of the HDD? I want to replace mine with a 5 TB 2.5" drive but I'm not sure if it will fit as it has 15 mm of thickness instead of the usual 7 mm

I dont have the exact dimensions for you but these are sometimes available on amazon under the part specs. However I would suggest going faster than larger. I would try a hybrid drive for storage space and speed unless you can afford a large ssd drive.
