You'll need a PCIe adapter to house the M.2 SSD so you can access the files from a second system.
Here's one option: 3-Port M.2 SSD (NGFF) Adapter Card - 1 x PCIe (NVMe) M.2
Unlike mSATA M.2 SSD's the PCIe SSD's need direct system bus access.
