Why does my Camry battle to accelerate

Testo:

My Camry battles to rev up and to pull away.

If I press the accelerator in full then its got less power, half way in then it accelerates better.

If it gets to above 3000rpm then the car drives okay...

It's a 220GX auto 2000 model
