@erichills54272 your charger should not quit working just because you haven't used it. Your laptops battery may have. It may have been discharged below it's threshold to accept a charge. Consider replacing that. Check your charger to make sure it outputs the proper voltage. Check the charging cable for any send or broken connectors. Check the charging port for any debris, broken or bend pin. You can always clean it with a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and a few puffs of compressed air. If it still does not come on, time to check it on the inside. Since you are probably going to replace the battery, use that opportunity to double check the DC in jack for proper voltage on the board side.
