So far the only thing that seems to have fixed this for me (1 month and counting, since it would normally drop off the network every several days after router and printer reboot), new router had the option of bonding the current assigned IPv4 address to the printer and has not had an issue since.

So look up how you can bond or assign IP addresses to the printer within your router/Wi-Fi setup, or set the router to static IP address allocation.
