Why is the unit not charging and not able to function.

Testo:

The unit does is not charging properly.  The display window says:

src/dep/SampleBuffer.cpp-222 Can't access / yaffs2/ user / au

then a column of letters and numbers

I connected the unit to a computer overnight and it appeared to be charging, but shows no green lights when turned on.

Please advise
