	[* black] With the laptop separated, you should be able to see the CPU fan.
	[* red] Remove the two 3.0 mm screws on each side of the fan using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.
	[* icon_note] Only one screw is shown being removed.
-	[* orange] Gently remove the fan's power ~~cable (~~small white connector with orange and red wires) ~~connected to the motherboard~~.
-	[* icon_caution] ~~Carefully avoid~~ pulling on the wires, as this will cause damage ~~to the power cable~~.
-	[* black] ~~Next slowly lift up~~ the fan from the ~~CPU~~ and ~~slide~~ it out.
-	[* black] ~~You can clean~~ the fan and heat sink with compressed air or replace the fan.
+	[* orange] Gently remove the fan's power supply by pulling up on the small white connector (with orange and red wires).
+	[* icon_caution] Avoid pulling on the wires while removing the power supply, as this will cause permanent damage.
+	[* black] Slowly slide out the fan from the heat sink and lift it out from the back of the laptop.
+	[* black] Clean the fan and heat sink with compressed air or replace the fan.
