Introduction
In my case, it was not the metal tactile domes, but rather dirt/crud that had built-up on top of the button housing wall preventing the button from fully depressing. To fix it, I pryed up on the rigid button cap (stretching , the elastomer pad underneath), until I could get a small toothpick to clean off its housing wall. (The rigid button cap appears to be bonded to the elastomer and will not separate).
