Use this guide to replace the speakers in your Sony XPERIA Tablet Z.

In this device there are two speakers each located in a bottom corners of the tablet.

This guide will take you through the process of removing the back cover, removing the retaining plate, and removing the speaker.

  1. Sony XPERIA Tablet Z Speakers Replacement, Speakers: passo 1, immagine 1 di 1

    • Place the plastic opening tool in the corner of the device.

    • Slide the plastic opening tool along the edge of the device removing the adhesive.

    • Remove the back cover.

    • Clean the adhesive off the inside perimeter of the device.

    • Remove the 2.96mm long Phillips head #0 retaining screw from each speaker.

    • Lift off the silver speaker retaining plate.

    • Using the plastic opening tool, gently lift the speaker out of place.
