Good photos. Reassembly with “reverse order” of steps not strictly true (surely not Step 5, e.g.), but most of us know what you mean : )

My tablet is doing a strange thing. I powers up then initializes and when it gets to where it says voyager it just stays there indefinately. Occasionally it will complete initalizing then will work for a while then go back to voyager and not work. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
It seems to me that when we got these new they had to charge up for a while before they would “boot” (work) at all. So it stands to reason that if one has a “flaky” battery it might do that. I think that’s what my 7” RCA did when it died. From the 10’ manual, it says,
“Do not wait for the battery to be fully depleted before charging again. Keep the battery charged as needed. If tablet has not been used for a long period of time, the battery might be in over discharge protection mode and may take longer to charge.”
So a flaky battery may put the tablet in the “over discharge protection mode”, meaning it is “cut off” & won’t work.
Gotta ask: where is everyone learning to spell “definitely” as “definately”? Here’s a help to remember: the root word is “finite”, not “finate”.
Good luck with your tablet!
