Vai al passo 1This guide shows how to replace the motherboard on the Logitech G29 Driving Force steering wheel. This PCB includes the steering wheel buttons which are responsible for navigating the game menus and various selections and functions during gameplay.
This repair may be necessary if the device will not navigate through the menu or functions in the game can not be completed. Always have a clean workspace and make sure the device is disconnected from the power supply and devices.

Remove the six 32mm long 4mm Allen screws from the faceplate of the steering wheel

My son has this wheel and it won't calbrate. Logitech wont help because it was a month out of warrenty. The green light comes on so it isnt the power. Can you suggest why this is and if it is repairable please. Thank you so much

Thx I was an idiot that forgot to check that the switch was out of the way, hence why I needed to replace, so I don't really need instructions as of how to do it, and a recommendation: add that you should make where when reassembling you check that the switch matches up with the switch extension thing so everyone doesn't make my dumb mistake. I would not be here writing this message if I had made sure that switch was there on the second go around (I forgot to put the plastic protector on the metal stand mounts for attaching to a metal cockpit stand) so I found it oddly difficult to put the board back then snap... awkward silence plug in the wheel and it spins around, and mashes every single button, and repeats for hours until I unplug it defeated. All this from a dumb switch. Hope you enjoyed my whole life story... It actually kinda feels like my whole life story lol.

I have a question, we replaced the regular wheel for an F1 mod wheel and since then it hasn't been working optimally the button with the circle doesn't work in game and in the menu it does again, do you guys have any idea what it could be ?
My wheel has adapter power, wheel calibrates perfectly but no LED light on the wheel itself and none of the buttons work. I've checked all connections from USB console/pc cable back to the main circuit board plug. I've also checked continuity between the wheel plug and the other end, the main board plug - all good.
So, I can steer a car in a game but none of the buttons work at all and no rev lights or green power light on wheel.
PS Just replaced the main board with a working replacement or so I've been told by the seller.
