If your HP Envy x360 13-y013cl is overheating or the fan is malfunctioning, it may need to be replaced. This guide will help you remove and replace the fan in your HP Envy laptop allowing your device to be cooled properly.

Before starting the guide, ensure to power off the device and disconnect the power source.

    • Unscrew and remove the 7.84 mm screws with a T5 screwdriver.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to pry the bottom cover off the laptop.

    • Remove the heatsink.
