The base model of the Acer Aspire E5-573G comes with an expansion slot for an optical drive, but no actual drive. This guide will show you how to remove that expansion and replace it with a functioning optical drive.

    • Unscrew the 5 mm Phillips head screw holding the drive in place.

What is the size of the disc drive? I've looked all over the internet and can't find it anywhere. Even Acer's own website does not give the size.
