Lift windshield wiper arms off the windshield and into the air.

Place your thumb and index finger on each side of the small central mechanism.
Gently squeeze the small mechanism together with your thumb and index finger and push the mechanism up.

Carefully, but firmly, pull windshield wiper blades down towards the hood of the car to “unhook” the blade from the wiper arm.
Place your towel on the windshield to protect it in case the arm drops onto the windshield.

On the driver's side, push the 24" wiper blade up towards the sky and into the hooks on the windshield wiper arm. The new blade should firmly click into place.
Repeat on the passenger's side using the 19" wiper blade.

Remove towels or other padding from windshield.

Give both windshield wiper arms a gentle, but firm, shake to confirm that the new wiper blades are secure.
Carefully put the passenger's side wiper arm back onto the windshield first. Then put the driver's side wiper arm down on the windshield.
