Identification and Background
The Super Nintendo was released in North America, Europe, Australasia, and South America between 1990 and 1993 making it Nintendo's 4th generation gaming console. The American Super Nintendos measured 2.83 in. high, 9.53 in. deep and 7.87 in. wide and had only one color, gray, available officially. You can differentiate the American Super Nintendo from its European and Japanese counterparts by looking and its shape and color. The American Super Nintendo is a lighter gray and has more defined edges than the models released overseas. On the bottom of the Super Nintendo there is a silver sticker that has the model number on it.
