== Background and Identification ==

In 1972 WEINMANN distributed the first emergency respirator to the public. The new version of the device which was developed to meet users’ standards was upgraded and distributed in 1997, offering users increased security.

Medumat Easy Ventilator is WEINMANN’S smallest ventilator. Its identifiable by the WEINMANN logo at the top left, and the ‘MEDUMAT Easy’ logo printed on the top right corner. The control panel is mostly black with a grey strip on the right hand side, that is aligned with the MEDUMAT Easy sign at the top right.

The Medumat Easy Ventilator is a guided voice-controlled ventilator that is implemented for resuscitation for those dealing with cardiopulmonary issues and for emergency ventilation after resuscitation occurs.

The device also comes with 20 languages to help assist those all over the world. With the audio cues, it helps the user engage in the required amount of chest compressions. The device also provides users with adjustable pressure limits to help gas insufflation from taking place in the patients’ stomach and lungs.
