Background
Although it is small, the Canon PowerShot SD200 has many of the same features as its larger counterparts. This particular model was first released in September 2004. This model is a 3.2 MegaPixel, 3x zoom camera with both camera and video modes. It has different scene settings for automatic white balance and aperture settings. The PowerShot SD200 saves images and videos onto an SD card that can be instantly uploaded to your computer. One is included with the camera, but more pictures can be saved with the purchase of a larger memory card.
Identification
The characteristic that sets the Canon SD series of PowerShot cameras apart from the others is its compact size. The camera has the model number, PowerShot SD200 Digital ELPH, written on both the front of the camera (by the lens) and on the top of it (by the power button).
