Positive attributes of the Asus F550 include its keyboard, responsive touchpad, no PWM (pulse-width modulation) across all brightness levels, relatively powerful hardware that is suitable for gaming at an affordable price, and a good cooling system that provides the user with the much-needed comfort during heavy load. On the other hand, negative attributes include small inconsistencies with the build quality, the laptop surface attracts fingerprints and smudges, no keyboard LED backlight, and the panel used for the display does not meet the expectations for a notebook in this price range.
