had sitting alone in computer room for 3 months and just powered on and everything lights up and looks fine, but no indication that keys are being pressed and no sound and none of the option buttons does anything. There are not headphones plugged in.

My Casio CDP 235R will not produce any sound. The piano is reset to the factory settings per instructions in the manual. Still no sound. When the keys are pressed, the display shows the keys that were depressed. None of the special keys work either. The display is lit and reflect the knobs being used. There is no head phones used. The only two cords plugged in the back side were the same two cords that were there when there was sound. The two chords were the power cord and the cord to the sustain pedal.
This piano is not used very often - maybe 5 times a month. It had not had any problems until now. Can anyone shed any light to this lack of sound issue? Thank you in advance. Lyn Herbert

The keyboard lights up but when the keys are pressed the sound from the speakers is low. When I plug in the earphones the sound is not much better. After a few moments the sound adds a static noise. Even when the volume knob is turned up, one can barely hear the music. Tried turning the machine on with the highest note key pressed... no difference. I love the machine...help!
