    • Orient the belt sander so that the AirGuard Technology logo is facing you.

    • Remove the nine 19mm, two 51mm and one 32 mm screws that hold the cover into place.

    • Remove the cover from the belt sander.

    • Make sure you remember the correct placement of each screw.

    • Remove the assembly armature from the belt sander.

    • You may need to wiggle the assembly armature to remove it from the belt sander.

    • Use a hammer to pry the ball bearing from the assembly armature.

    • The ball bearing can be somewhat difficult to remove. You may need to apply WD-40 before removal.
