Replacing the thermal paste

Please tell me, I want to change the thermal paste on the surface laptop studio 2, is there also thermal pads? Or just thermal paste?

More info please. Why do you want to replace it. With what is it in contact with. Is it sandwiched in between a component and a flat surface or between 2 flat surfaces
