The Tata Group founded in 1945, is India's largest multinational automobile manufacturer. The company produces a large range of vehicles, from commercial trucks and buses to passenger cars and military equipment. Since 2008 it also owns Jaguar and Land Rover. In 2026 Tata Motors also acquired Italian truck and bus manufacturer Iveco.
