Back plate fell off

The back plate that houses the sensors fell off, is there any way to repair it?

Mine just fell off the other morning, too... It certainly looks fixable?

Mine looks to have literally just one teeny little contact point, corresponding with one of the brass contact spots on the underside of the backplate. Everything else looks like it was just bonded in place.

It looks to me like there may have been a tiny little metal bit in there to act as a connector between the slightly recessed contact point and the backplate, which is nowhere to be found.

I'm going to try to fix mine with adhesive (E6000 or epoxy unless someone else has a better idea. I'm going to try to keep the adhesive away from the little contact point which I think has something to do with the electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor. I'll report back.

The little contact point you mention is a spring, so be careful it'll jump out of there if you look at it funny. I scraped the remaining black adhesive off the backplate and the back of the watch with some ifixit tools.

Then I applied E-6000 adhesive to the backplate and back of the watch per the E-6000 directions. I tried to avoid the contact point during adhesive application on both the backplate and the back of the watch. I couldn't figure out a better way to clamp it than just wearing it on my wrist so I wore it for the next 8 hours. 5 days after that the watch is functioning as expected and the back plate is firmly attached.

Good luck
