Samsung Galaxy S10+ Replacment buttons

hi there, buttons (or button caps) on my Samsung galaxy S10+ Silver (International version) are starting to break (only one side would break, then the button would be half out, its still works, but its very annoying to use, because you are always afraid you will loose it) and fall out, first the bixby button broke which I never replaced because it was anoying button that got accidently pressed to much anyway

but now, volume button also decided to break

So I decided to treat my phone with new buttons

Now the question

I am based in Europe (in Slovenia) and was wondering how much I am supposed to pay for this buttons so I don't get ripped off

in china you can buy buttons very cheap like: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10050053...

but I am afraid the quality will be bad

then on amazon the shipping costs more then the button:

https://www.amazon.com/Button-Replacemen...

https://www.amazon.com/GinTai-Button-Rep...

So I am not sure how much should this buttons costs?

Also if there is any good store in Europe for parts like this

Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards

Hi @mitjakocjancic

Don't knows about Europe but here are the part numbers for the various power buttons and volume buttons. I think that the bixby button is the same as the power button.

Search online for the part number for the parts you want, to find suppliers that suit you best.

Power button prism black GH98-43730A

Power button prism white GH98-43730B

Power button prism blue GH98-43730C

Power button prism green GH98-43730E

Power button ceramic white GH98-43730J

--------------------------------------------

Volume button prism black GH98-43731A

Volume button prism white GH98-43731B

Volume button prism blue GH98-43731C

Volume button prism green GH98-43731E

Volume button ceramic white GH98-43731J

Update:

Hi @mitjakocjancic

It might depend on your monitor when viewing the colours but on mine there's a noticeable difference between the prism green and the prism white especially on the Power button, so I would trust that the part numbers are different for a reason.

thanks, is there a way to figure out what part exactly I need (ceramic and prism confuse me, they look the same)

my phone is green and it has silver buttons (bought it through carrier when new, and it has 128GB of internal storage)

@mitjakocjancic

Here's another view of what prism white and ceramic white look like that may be better.

Although since the phone is green then perhaps the originals were green anyway.

It seems unusual that the original buttons are a different colour to the rest of the phone.

ok, that made me very confused, looking at prism green, it looks exactly the same as prism white

I did rule out ceramic white (since this ecualy looks white)

Here is my phone serial number (Serijska Števila): https://imgur.com/OdI1jP4

Is it possible to match the part exacly somehow (its totaly possible both buttons are exacly the same color, but if thats true, why different part number)

Replacement buttons for your Samsung Galaxy S10+ can vary in price depending on the quality and the store from which you purchase them. Here are a few points to consider:

1. **AliExpress**: While buttons on AliExpress are usually very cheap, the quality can be hit or miss. If you decide to buy from here, make sure to check the seller's ratings and reviews.

2. **Amazon**: Amazon is a more reliable option, but shipping costs can be high. The buttons themselves might be a bit more expensive, but you're more likely to receive a higher quality product.

3. **Local Stores in Europe**: There are several European-based stores and websites that specialize in phone parts. Some of these include:

- **iFixit (Europe)**: Known for their quality parts and repair guides.

- **eBay (Europe)**: You might find good deals from European sellers.

- **GSM Parts Center**: They offer various phone parts and have a good reputation.

Prices can vary, but here are some general guidelines:

- **AliExpress**: $2-$5 (but check quality).

- **Amazon**: $5-$20 (depending on seller and shipping).

- **Local European stores**: €10-€20 (plus shipping, if applicable).

It might be worth spending a bit more on a reliable part to avoid future issues. If you need specific European store recommendations or want to compare prices, I can look into that for you.
