Hi, I was caught off guard on my first 12 Mini display removal. It turns out that Apple display seal is wider, thicker and takes more heating to penetrate past the seal. This complicates things by having the seal let go on the Lcd above on the frame seal. So what happened was I put the pick under the screen and not the screen frame, this led to lifting the Lcd off (breaking it) and leaving the frame still attached to the phone. So now I make sure I have enough heat (without going too far and damaging the Lcd) and coming into the edge at more of an upright angle to make sure that I get under the frame seal. Unfortunately you’ll have to replace the Lcd and hopefully it’s not bricked in the true sense. Hope this helps
Per saperne di piùHi, When replacing an LCD or Touch glass both come with this protection and it’s easy to miss removing one. The touch glass has one either side and the LCD one is sometimes cut so close to the edge that it looks like it’s part of the LCD and not there. These protective films can have small manufacturers stickers or markings on them that are not always easy to see. I’m guessing that your problem is one of the plastic films haven’t been removed. Hope this helps

Per saperne di piùHi, There are services available for repairing screen flex cables: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pne7IeDh-Dg This YouTube video shows the process being done with a machine designed to replace flex cables. Unfortunately the machine is really expensive, but the price of doing the job is cheaper than replacing a screen. If you don’t have someone in your area that does it then you can search for “flex bonding service that has mail in information and ask for a quote. Hope this helps
Per saperne di piùHi, If the functions work with your old battery then the new battery may not have enough charge to run them. Either it needs to be activated to charge properly, or it’s an odd “dud”, or it’s the wrong type or connector on the flex is somehow damaged. I would check the new battery voltage to see what it’s holding and make sure the connector on the flex isn’t damaged. Beyond that you may need to wipe the cache and see if it fixes the problem. Hope this helps

Per saperne di piùHi, Yes since iPhone 11 Apple kindly paired paired the screens to the phone, which now gives users the display warnings (battery too) You can get rid of these messages but you need to move the original screen “chip” to the new one, but if you don’t have the experience and equipment required you can destroy the new screen in the process. The messages don’t affect operations of the phone and usually go away after a month - but will return if you reset or restart your phone. There’s a ton of YouTube videos that show what’s required if you’re interested in looking. Just search for iPhone warning messages. Hope this helps
Per saperne di piùHi, Here’s a YouTube video showing removing of mainboard: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gzVEoeGeZw... The USBC port is a standard connection which you should be able to purchase at electronics parts store or online. You will need to have tools/skills to de-solder and remove the broken one then solder in the new one. If you’re not comfortable with doing this then you may need to consider taking it to a repair shop. Hope this helps
