When i press the home button to use it it hangs and when again on and off it gets usable but after few minutes it again goes to that situation. Is the battery damaged or display?
I’ve tried to solve it by resetting it but it did not get solved.

Sometimes during a battery replacement, components can get nudged or knocked out of place. Ensure that all connections are secure, especially around the battery area. If a component are damaged it won't help to factory reset. I don't think it is the screen or battery, but ensure you use the right battery made for your iPhone.
