My bottom speaker is crackling the higher the volume the worse the crackling. I've cleaned it and used compressed air but, still nothing it has done it before but it went away or I stopped noticing it I do admit I've dropped and cracked the front and back but it still worked it all started when I turned the volume up one day for a song then it started but it does not do it for calls.

From my own experience when speakers start crackeling or making distorted sounds it tends to mean that they are failing and need replacing
These issues can come and go but they usually just need replaced to fix them once and for all!

You only need to go up to the speaker part then perform what you just did on reverse to reassemble
