Dust Behind Camera Lens Fix Suggestions?

Hi All,


I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S (not the 8T, but I couldn’t find it in the phone list).


I have the known chronic issue of dust behind the rear camera lens cover, a factory defect where the lens cover wasn’t sealed properly. I found this video on how to clean it, and I think I am capable of doing so, but I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on a solution that I could implement that would prevent dust from entering again?

Replace the camera gaskets or replace the whole camera module.

Hi Tom, thank you for the suggestion, but it's near impossible to find a gasket for this specific camera on this phone model, and furthermore, it's the original gasket and camera assembly that is the primary problem in the first place, out of the factory...

@blommie 1: Then there is nothing you can do. 2: It's not the design, but bad assembly or part quality, find an actual good quality part and assemble it properly.
