when doing a back glass replacement

How strong is the adhesive on the 7T back glass? ive bought the part i need, just waiting on it.. just wondering if a heat gun would help? or can i use a hair dryer

The reason you use heat is just to make the job easier and prevent cracking the back glass when removing it. But since yours is already broken and are gonna be replaced it doesn’t matter how you do it.
