SA-GT290 stopped powering on.
I have the Sony sound bar with the Bluetooth subwoofer. The subwoofer no longer powers on. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting that’s in the manual . I switched to different power outlets, I also tried using the power button on the subwoofer. Does anyone know what needs to be done?

Hi,
Please verify the make and model number of the sub woofer?
When searching for the schematics/manuals for the device, all that show up is a Sony CDX-GT290 which obviously is not it.
Do you get an indication that power is available on the device?
If not have you tried disconnecting the power and then opening it up to look at the control board/power board to check if there is a supply fuse and if it is OK when tested using an Ohmmeter?
If you're not sure what things should look like e.g.fuses etc open the device and take some close up pictures of the power board, especially near where the power cord is connected and post back here.

Be safety aware - remember that with the device open there is exposed lethal voltage present if the power is connected so remember to unplug the sub woofer's power cord from the wall outlet before opening it
