My Nikon D800 shutter is not working properly.

Whether it is in manual mode, shutter priority it fires at about 1/30 of a second. It can be set at a fast speed and still fires slow.

Any ideas?

Do you have any Custom Menus set up?

Perhaps if you were to go into these and do a reset, you might solve your issue.

Does the problem occur when you are in Manual mode or any other modes?
