MacBook Pro retina early 2015 no power, logic board fried

So my MacBook Pro early 2015 13” retina gave out on the weekend, apple says the logicboard is fried , because of how expensive it is I rather sell for parts. With that said I need my data off of the hard drive, was told it’s doable even with out the laptop turning on? And that I needed a hard disk drive adapter to transfer out the data? Any suggestions on the kind I need

Before you assume Apple diagnosed things correctly can you tell us what happened and what is the system doing now or not doing. As an example is the MagSafe charger LED Amber or Green? Is the fan coming on when you press the power button? Do you see any glow in the lid logo?

It was working fine last Saturday, when I tried to wake it up Monday I assumed it was dead. I charged her up a bit and it just never turned on, no noises I don’t hear the fan or any chime, or see any glow on the logo. The chargers led does light up, its on green because I’m guessing it’s fully charged now. any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Apple doesn’t repair customer’s logic boards, they want them to buy new more expensive and less serviceable machines, the faster they can push this evil logic the more profits they make, this is a fact. However another fact is that there are a number of reputable labs who don’t share Apple views and _do make_component level repairs..find one and you might be able to get back your Mac working at a fraction of the cost of a new one.

If you still want to dispose of yours look for a 12+16 pin Ssd adapter for Mac, on big marketplaces like Amazon or eBay you won’t have any problem to find a cheap one and recover your data.

Then press and hold the power button for a good 15 secs so the system is fully discharged. With the battery still disconnected plug in the MagSafe charger it should be Amber.

Now try powering the system by pressing the power button. What happened?
