all apps got erased how do I put them back on the tablet

You may have to hard reset the tablet to re-install the firmware which contains the basic Android apps necessary for the tablet to fully function

Scroll down to the Reset without complication section first to see if that works. Here’s an image taken from the user manual that shows where the recessed reset button is located. DO NOT get it mixed up with the microphone hole as you may damage the microphone if you insert a paperclip in there ;-)

If it doesn’t work then try following the instructions in the Passcode is forgotten section to see how to factory reset the tablet.

I believe that the instructions for a factory reset may be wrong and that you have to hold the Power button and the Volume Up and Down buttons (all 3 buttons together) to get into the recovery screen. Once there, release the buttons and follow the guide as before.

Be aware that a factory reset (also known as a hard reset) will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the tablet to its’ factory default condition (or last system updated condition). It will be like when you first got it.
