Windows Install Problem Error

Hi,

I have a brand new 2 months old, Asus E402SA and It came with Windows 10 Home SL, i want to change it for Windows 10 Pro, i prepare a memory stick with the installer like i did with another computer, then enter to the BIOS and disable the secure boot, disable the fast boot and enable the Launch CSM, save changes and then reboot, everything normal until pass the Windows logo in the instalation and pop a BSOD saying the error of memory_management and reboot itself, and this is all the time i want to boot the installation.

On the system i check the memories and they are ok, like i said is a two months computer.

Someone have a similar problem like this?

I just red your plight to upgrade from hp to pro.

Changing away from you uefi bios is not needed, don't know where you got this flavor to upgrade..

From with ion Windows click on the start button and open settings, choose update & security.

If you have the pro product key click change product key and go to next. You can install from thumb drive, dvd. If you do not have a product key then go to windows store and purchase the pro version which will down load you a ISO you can save then run or run after download. Once you have pro installed. Make a back up of your drive in case it blows up and you want to go back. Your UEFI bios contains your 10 home premium product key so you can revert back. There is a program to view the product code and save it before you upgrade, then after you can do this again and save your pro key as well.

Have fun

Alton

His problem was he ERASED the hard drive and installed Windows and now windows wont finish it's startup sequence. You reply made no sense, and you never actually read what he said.

I am glad you are interested in this persons post, glad you did use anonymous so you are afraid of being known. He did not say he formatted the hard drive so the original operating system is still there, Enabling secure boot and fast boot would give him the option to reload his original operating system then upgrade from with in his windows 10 home premium using a DVD or Thumb drive with pro on it. I guess reloading after changing uef back to original was my intension I could have been more clear for him to understand. It is good to be critical of help when you post a solve other wise keep your unknown self quiet.
