Why won’t the screen display communicate with the sensor?

The display and the sensor may be out of range of one another. First, make sure that the sensor is within 200ft of the display. If the display still has no bars, the units might not be properly synchronized. Remove the batteries from both units and bring them indoors to synchronize.
