Water line inside my phone screen

Day before yesterday, my phone fell into toilet. Of course i get so scared, grabbed it out very fast removed a lot of water from headphone and charger jack. And my phone is working, no problems with it. but yesterday I saw in the left lower corner little water mark I putted phone in rice for all night , and this morning I see straight line from left lower corner to right corner in the top. Could be that it is straight water line? Or my screen is damaged and I can not fix it myself?

Thanks

today my phone fell inside of the tub and now i have these purple lines all over my screen . so i powered off my phone obviously they went away but it is impossible for me to listen to any music without having to put headphones in . it is very stressful , it's like my phone goes in and out . the lines go away then come back and i feel like if i power my phone off again it will be way more lines and i really do not need that !

OK I NEED HELP. So I brought my iphone in the bathroom while I wasn’t showering and now there’s a diagonal clear line running across half of my phone screen. It’s been like this for about 1 and a half months but I’m wondering how to get rid of it or if it will have any longterm damages...

gabrieletera before you do anything else, and if you like your phone then you want to stop using it right now. Stop syncing/charging it and stop turning it on. You have water damage and rice does not do anything.Rice is not a tool and using it, is the equivalent of not doing anything. Check on here for more on that.

What you do want to do is to properly clean your phone. Disassemble your phone using these guides . You must remove all EMI shields. If you do not remove those, you might as well not do anything. After you removed those, clean the whole board, connectors and all with +90% isopropyl alcohol. Follow this guide , and even so it was written for a 3G all the points are still pertinent to your phone. While you clean your board, check for any obvious damage, like burned or missing components etc. When it is properly cleaned, replace the battery. All these steps are to avoid delayed failure caused by corrosion. Best thing to do would be to clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner, but if you do not have access to one, this will at least help. Once all this is done, reassemble your phone and reevaluate. Until it is cleaned, everything will only be a guess. Even with all this, water damage has only a small chance to be fully repaired, but at least you can give it a try. From your description it is possible that this is just your display, but it could also be water damage on the logicboard that causes it.

That straight line is moisture. I do OCA repairs and when I put it in the autoclave to remove all bubbles I get these lines from moisture in the autoclave. They disappear in a day or so

If it doesn't dissapear then you would need to change the rear backlight and possibly the rear polarizer.

If it is the rear polarizer then I would avoid trying to do it if you don't have the machines etc to do so.

I had that on one of my old phones after I went on a trip and dropped it in water. I think disappeared in about a week or so
