using iPad with external power supply only

Hi,

Can you help please. I want to use iPad 3 without a battery, removed the battery and want to run on the charger power only... tried but it's not working... is there a tweak needed?

Will not work. The battery powers some of the chips directly, also the device constantly checks the battery status bus.
