Can someone post a picture of the throttle mechanism/springs?

I just recently took my B&S 675 apart to clean and check some things and in the midst of putting the engine back together one of the two "springs" for the throttle cable that connects to the carburetor came off. I can not for the life of me figure out how to put the bastard back on correctly, can anyone post a picture of the throttle cable springs connecting to the carburetor on this engine? This engine is on my Briggs & Stratton Earthquake auger with the 675 series engine.

Hi,

I don't know if this is helpful or not but it is a video for a B&S 675 motor. Between 2:40 to 3:13 minutes into the video two springs near the carburetor are shown. There is also a good view of the spring connection points at 6:27 minutes in.

I’m having the exact same problem, I rebuilt the carburetor, and that same spring you’re talking about came loose on me and I can’t figure out how to put it back. I think you if someone can show us a top view picture of how those two springs connect thank you very much and God bless you all.

Will not allow posting pic. The lower spring is straight forward, fixed anchor toward front to the back to throttle valve. The upper spring is a bit tougher. It goes from choke on carb clear past the carb base to an ear poking up on a metal shield. That spring stretches close to two inches. It closes the choke plate. Good luck!
