I am hoping for some direction on repairing the charge port on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 MODEL #SM-T237P. Is this part soldered? Also is the charge port the same for all of the tab 4 7.0 model's???

The part that you want (it is the soldered on type) is available on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40... I do not know if they are the same for all Galaxy 4 7.0 models
Here is a link which shows how to replace the battery in your Tab. It is handy as it shows how to open your Tab. At 1:46 minutes into the video you can see the charging port (which is soldered on) on the right hand side of the Tab, as seen).

Hi,
It is not a job for novices. You will need SMD soldering expertise and tools to perform the repair. You can cause more damage if you don't know what to do.
It may be better if you take it to a reputable, professional mobile phone or laptop repair service and ask for a quote.
