Crash and bootloop after some time

Hello, I got Alcatel onetouch idol x+ (6030D) for Christmas and it worked amazingly. After 2-3 weeks it randomly crashed and got stucked in a bootloop. Only thing that worked was a factory reset through boot menu, which was also hard to acess due to the restarting.. Anyway, I have accepted that I had to factory reset and went on with no problem whatsoever. Now after another almost two weeks it happened again. The battery is and was charged at both times and the factory reset helped in both cases but I am kind of sure this will happen again. Is it just that the phone is poorly made or do I have a defective piece?

Update (03/03/2016)

So the thing was partially fixed by sending the phone to the place where I got it from so they'd repair it. They changed the entire motherboard. It still resets sometimes (might be gpu overheating or RAM is too &&^&@@). Either way it's manageable now.

I have a similar issue but in my case, I can't even perform a hard reset because the phone remains utterly unresponsive. I gave it to the repair shop 3 times and they made it work via a new firmware, they also replaced the CPU and what not, but it keeps crashing and drops dead after about a week. This is some serious junk, and I would advise everyone to get rid of it and never buy an Alcatel again. Sorry, I can't help you. My advise is: garbage bin. Spend some more money on something that actually works. I go and do the same. So my only help is: you're not alone; other consumers have been ripped off, too.

Probably you use some application that is incompatible or catch conflict. The OT-6030 ( and double SIM variant OT-6030D ) is well maded ( for price level ) with simple construction phone. Most defects comes from LCD cracking or somethin like. Just one i was catch eMMC fault. Phone can be easy serviced via online One Touch Upgrade S or offline via SP-FlashTool. Don't worry - it's nice phone for about the money.

I've been having my OT6030X for over 3 years. And the crash issue has just begun. Hard reset to factory reset had been applied frequently. But it seems that it doesn't help. Even I don't install any apps out of factory apps but the problem is persistent. Any suggestion?

Keep pressing the power and volume down button together for 3-5 seconds at a time, repeating until the recovery mode menu appears. I kept pressing those buttons while it was powering on (before it got to the "starting Android, optimizing apps..." screen). We've cleared the cache partition and then rebooted (both from the recovery menu) but it's still stuck in the starting... Optimizing... Starting... loop, so we are about to do a hard reset and lose all my daughter's pictures :-(

If you have Zedge, this is what is causing it.

I had also done other updates and thought it was Android System WebView as it started right after that had updated. Then I read it's Zedge and I've had that program for almost 2 years. I had restarted phone and was again stuck on "Optimizing", but for me each time it has been a good 20 minutes.

I uninstalled Zedge and it started right up, no Optimizing. Thanks for everyone who figured this out!
