My laptop has been running fine since I bought it a few months ago but all of a sudden it has started getting very loud and hot while on. The fans have been running nonstop. Is there anything I can do so that it will quiet down?

Conor Most, you will have to find out why it does that. Check your computer resources and see what the total demand is. Make sure that your laptop has unobstructed airvents. Make sure that those vents are clean. If all that is normal you will have to disassemble your computer and take a look at the Fan. I would replace it for sure. Check the heatsink and assembly and replace the thermal paste. download the service manual from here Page 73 will tell you how to replace all that . Hope this helps, good luck
