I was in the middle of finishing a text when I looked away for a moment and when I looked back at my phone the screen had turned white and on the bottom left corner there was a black shattered spot. I have tried taking out the battery multiple times and turning it off and on but it remains the same. I did not drop it or get it wet at all. How can I fix this?

Mary Fallin, "on the bottom left corner there was a black shattered spot." sounds like a broken LCD. we can confirm this once you post an image of your damaged screen, but for now I would suggest to change the display. you'll find some got instructions on here, and a decent video on here.
