Introduzione

It is critical that an ACLI power plug is fully functional and free of error. A damaged ACLI plug won’t provide power to your space heater.

Please refer to this Troubleshooting guide before beginning to make sure replacing the ACLI plug is the correct action to fix your device.

For this Lasko CD08200 replacement guide, you will need:

-          Torx Security 15 (TR15 bit)

-          Phillips 2 (PH2 bit)

-          Solder Iron

-          Metal Spudger

Not sure how to solder? Follow this soldering guide before starting.

  1. Please disconnect the device and let it sit for 10 minutes so any fuses can drain before beginning this guide. Turn over the device and place it on its head. Remove the four 14mm screws holding the bottom using a TR15 screwdriver.

    • Heat up the end of the wire from the tip of the solder iron.

    • While the wire is still hot, untwist the wires using pliers.

    • If other wires are obstructing each other, you can cut the black zip tie holding together the wires for more room.

    • During reassembly, twist each independent end of wire into each other with pliers until the twisted wire’s end is pointed.

  5. Gently free the wire from the power cord casing with a spudger. The cable may be too tight to pull out from the power cord casing. If you struggle to pull the cable out, use the pointed end of a spudger to free the cable from the power cord casing. Pull the ACLI cable out from the power cord casing with your hands.
