    • Power down the phone by holding the power button for several seconds.

    • While holding the battery release button, pull the bottom end of the phone out of the body.

Absolutely great instructions. The battery I got for replacement comes uncharged (probably new shipping laws) so you might put in “Battery needs to be calibrated by fulling charging new battery to 100% then letting battery COMPLETELY run down to 0% before returning to normal use and charging.”
