Background
The Nikon COOLPIX S3100 was released in January 2011. It is known to be lightweight and slim. Included in the original packaging is the COOLPIX S3100 camera, camera strap AN-CP19, a rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL19, AC Adapter EH-69P, UC-E6 USB Cable, the AV Cable EG-CP14, and Nikon ViewNX 2 Software CD.
It is equipped with a 14.0 megapixel CCD sensor, NIKKOR glass lens, and 5X optical zoom. It also has a 2.7 in. diagonal LCD screen to view your pictures or HD videos.
Identification
The Nikon COOLPIX S3100 is available in blue, pink, red, black, silver, purple, and green. You can identify your camera by the embossed Nikon logo to the left of the lens on the front, and COOLPIX printed below that. Look on the bottom of your camera for a label with the model and serial numbers.
