Identification and Background
The Motorola RIZR Z3 is the third T-Mobile slider phone in the Z series. It was released in July 2006, following the success of the Motorola RAZR.
The RIZR Z3 has a 1.9 inch diagonal color display with calling, texting, camera, and music capabilities. The front panel slides upward, revealing the keypad beneath. The camera is 2 megapixels with LED flash and video recording.
The RIZR Z3 has a lithium ion BC50 battery that has a talk time of 5 hours and stand-by time of 240 hours. The phone is small, only weighing 3.9 ounces, and comes in black, blue, and rose colors.
