The MSI GP72 2QE is part of the GP72 series that was released last March 7, 2016 by its manufacturer, MSI. This laptop was a cheaper alternative for other pricier gaming laptops that offered almost similar performance in image and video graphics. Nowadays, this laptop model has become older and outdated, so there are definitely better alternatives or replacements that are more up-to-date and efficient in handling heavy graphical computing activities.

This laptop is mainly used for high-quality video gaming with the convenience of portability. However, its optimal use can be extended to graphical animation and design rendering applications.

Due to its outdated status, the production of the laptop’s components and the laptop itself has been discontinued. This laptop model has subsequently been replaced with newer models within the latter GP series of MSI such as GP73 and GP75. Replacement parts (components) can still be purchased either brand new or second-hand through online selling platforms such as Amazon and eBay.

This laptop may be confused with other MSI GP72 laptop models due to having similarities in physical attributes and design. To provide specificity, this page focuses on the model MSI GP72 2QE Leopard Pro. Although this particular laptop may have different specifications with other models of the GP72 series, its overall structure, physical setup, appearance, and ergonomics are still similar with the characteristics of the other models of the same series.

Usually, the laptop has a sticker below the number pad that says it is MSI GP72 2QE Leopard Pro model.
